Zenato

In the heart of the picturesque areas on the southern shores of Lake Garda and the gentle hills north of Verona, you’ll find Zenato – a winery with deep roots and a passion for the area’s traditional grape varieties. With over 75 hectares of vineyards spread across the properties of Santa Cristina in Lugana and Costalunga in Valpolicella, Zenato specializes in producing the Veneto region’s most famous wines, including the incomparable Amarone. The Zenato family, with Sergio Zenato at the helm since 1960, has always aimed to raise the quality bar for the region’s wines through innovative winemaking and respect for tradition.

Zenato is part of ‘Le famiglie dell’amarone d’arte’, an association of 12 Amarone producers dedicated to protecting the quality and reputation of Amarone wine. This initiative underlines Zenato’s commitment to producing Amarone, and all their wines, of the highest quality and craftsmanship.

Zenato’s dedication also extends to sustainability, working respectfully with viticulture and the local area. In 2022, they were certified by the Italian sustainability organization Equalitas, testifying to their commitment to sustainable wine production.
